Going, Going, Gone.

Thursday morning several LAWS volunteers watched as a bulldozer demolished what was once home to us. As the dust cleared, the view of our beautiful new shelter appeared, proving once again that if you are passionate and believe in a cause, you CAN make a difference.

Raise the Woof Campaign completed.

The new building is up and open and the goal of $600,000 has been met. A big thank you to every one who was involved or donated to this exciting project.

Open House a huge success

Sunday June 15, 2008 was an exciting day at Lakefield Animal Welfare Society. We opened the doors to our brand new shelter to our supporters for an open house. The day brought over 500 visitors who took part in guided tours, meeting our Staff andBoard of Directors.

LAWS gets a new website

We noticed our old website was getting a little bit neglected, some of the links no longer worked and it was getting harder for us to update. We have received a brand new site, along with our very own domain name. This new redesign will make it easier for us to update. Our new website address is: http://www.lakefieldanimalwelfare.org
