Join us for the 2026 LAWS Doggie Dash\, a fun-filled dog walk to fundraise for the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society! On June 14\, 2026 we will gather in the park and kick off the walk together. By joining us\, you and your dog will help rescue\, rehabilitate and find forever homes for more dogs and cats in the community. \nEvent Details: \n\nDate: June 14\, 2026\nLocation: Isabel Morris Park\, Selwyn\nStart Time: Registration will open at 12:00 pm with the walk kicking off at 1:00 pm!\nDistance: Participants can choose from two walking distances: 1.5km or 2.5km\nTo join the walk\, each participant or team must raise a minimum of $100.\n\nFundraising Profiles: You will have your own profile where you can raise money for the walk. Please share your personalized link with your family\, friends\, and on social media. We want to encourage as much support and participation as we can! \nAfter the walk\, enjoy some live music and games explore a variety of pet and people vendors\, and satisfy your hunger with delicious food from our food vendors. Limited seating is available\, so we encourage participants to allow those with accessibility needs to have priority seating. \nNEW: Silent Auction Opens Online\nWe have a list of great prizes donated by local businesses and community members\, and for the first time ever\, you can visit our Silent Auction online and bid through June 14 at 10:00 am.
