By joining us\, you and your dog will help rescue\, rehabilitate and find forever homes for more dogs and cats in the community. \nEvent Details: \n\nDate: September 15\, 2024\nLocation: Isabel Morris Park\, Selwyn\nStart Time: Registration will open at 12:00 pm with the walk kicking off at 1:00 pm!\nDistance: Participants can choose from two walking distances: 1.5km or 2.5km To join the walk\, each participant must raise a minimum of $100.\n\nFundraising Profiles: You will have your own profile where you can raise money for the walk. DESCRIPTION:Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) is excited to announce our YETI Roadie Raffle! Grab your tickets now stand a chance to win a pawsome Yeti Roadie Wheeled Cooler valued at $650! \nOur raffle officially launches on May 15 at 6 AM\, and ticket sales will close on Saturday June 29 at 12 PM\, with the draw occurring on Monday\, July 1st at 10 AM. \nLAWS is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless\, abandoned\, and injured animals in our community and finding adoptive homes for them. We are a no-kill shelter and work very hard at finding homes for even the most difficult-to-place animals. LAWS is run strictly on donations\, memberships\, and adoption fees. For a minimum donation of $15\, we can perform that service during your scheduled appointment. It’s important to note that all participating animals must be friendly and have no history of showing signs of aggression. Unfortunately\, we are not equipped to work with animals that display aggressive tendencies. Please ensure an appointment is booked for this event.
