Welcoming Our New Director, Lyndsay Lisson-De Ell
The Board of LAWS is thrilled to announce the appointment of Lyndsay Lisson-De Ell as the new Director of the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS), effective immediately. Lyndsay brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare and community engagement that will be invaluable in her leadership of LAWS.
Lyndsay’s background is in Community Support and Outreach within the non-profit sector, which, along with her extensive experience at LAWS, makes her uniquely qualified to lead our organization. Over the past two years, she has been a vital part of our team as Adoption and Shelter Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator, roles through which she has built meaningful connections with our animals, volunteers, and community. Her dedication to LAWS and the relationships she has formed along the way have only deepened her commitment to our mission.
Lyndsay lives in a cozy cottage in the woods with her husband, two sons, and a lively crew of cats and dogs. She’s excited to unite her love of animals and her passion for fostering community as she steps into this new role. In her own words, “I’m excited to collaborate with the incredible LAWS team and our wonderful community to create a meaningful, positive impact for the animals we care for and the amazing individuals who support them.”
In her spare time, Lyndsay loves walking in the woods with her dogs, playing board games with her family, reading, and indulging her love for thrifting—often at our very own LAWS thrift shop!
Please join us in welcoming Lyndsay Lisson-De Ell as our new Director. We look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make at LAWS as she leads us forward.
