Bailey’s Story
Bailey, a sweet 7-year-old Bulldog, came to LAWS labeled as “lazy,” but we quickly discovered she was actually in constant pain. Her teeth were severely infected, and her elongated soft palate made every breath a struggle.
After removing nine rotten teeth, Bailey transformed into a happier, brighter dog. But she still urgently needs a soft palate resection so she can breathe, sleep, and move comfortably.
Bailey’s surgery is estimated at $10,000+. In addition, post-operative care, medications, and follow-up appointments are expected as she recovers from this major procedure.
Charlie’s Story
Charlie, a loving and brave Maine Coon, was surrendered so he could receive urgent medical care. He arrived with a painful ear polyp, severe infection, and a head tilt affecting his balance and hearing.
The polyp has continued growing and is now visibly protruding from his ear. Charlie urgently needs a CT scan and likely surgery the same day to safely remove it and prevent deeper infection.
Charlie’s CT scan and surgery are estimated at $5,000+, with additional post-operative costs expected, including medications, follow-up care, and monitoring during recovery.
