A Spooktacular Success: LAWS Howloween Weekend
Our Howloween Weekend was a success! From October 24 to 26, the trail behind the shelter was transformed into a haunted Halloween adventure filled with eerie sights, trick or treat stations, and spooky surprises for visitors of all ages.
Families came out during the day for a lighthearted walk full of games and activities, while brave souls returned after dark to take on the haunted trail if they dared. Laughter, gasps, and the sound of Halloween spirit filled the air all weekend long.
This event would not have been possible without the incredible effort and creativity of our dedicated staff who led the organizing and execution of this event, and our amazing volunteers who brought the event to life with their hard work and enthusiasm. From decorating the trail to running games, managing admissions, and keeping the scares going, your dedication made this event one to remember.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Griffin’s Greenhouses, Leahy’s Farm & Market, Lakefield Home Hardware, Omemee Veterinary Hospital, and the many community members who generously donated decorations, supplies, and treats to help make our Howloween Weekend a success. Your support truly makes a difference and allows us to continue creating fun, family friendly events that bring our community together in support of the animals at LAWS.
Thank you to everyone who came out to take part in the fun. We loved celebrating Halloween with you!
