Enriching and Supporting the Well-Being of Our Animals

Keeping our animals happy and engaged is just as important as providing food, shelter, and medical care. We’re always looking for ways to bring enrichment into their daily lives helping them feel more comfortable, confident, and ready for their future homes.

We’re lucky to work with amazing professionals who help us do just that! Our dogs get to enjoy relaxing massages, easing their stress and keeping them comfortable, while Paus n Train helps them build confidence, learn good manners, and prepare for adoption.

In addition to these enrichment programs, our Animal Care staff and dedicated dog volunteers recently attended a Canine Foundations workshop to further enhance their skills and knowledge in handling and supporting our shelter dogs. Investing in ongoing education ensures our team can continue providing the best possible care, helping every dog at LAWS thrive.
