We’re Hiring!
Lakefield Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) actively seeks an Animal Care Attendant to assume an integral role within our dedicated team of both staff and volunteers. Together, we wholeheartedly commit to providing the highest level of care for our animals while they await their forever homes.
Established in 1993, LAWS is a nonprofit organization firmly dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned, and injured animals within our community and ultimately finding them loving adoptive homes. We operate as a "no-kill" shelter, tirelessly laboring to place even the most challenging-to-adopt animals into caring homes. Our core belief is that euthanasia is not an acceptable means of population control; instead, we advocate for humane methods such as spaying and neutering. LAWS relies solely on donations, memberships, and adoption fees to sustain our operations and does not receive any external government or private sector funding.
The Opportunity
LAWS actively searches for an individual who will dedicate themselves with passion and enthusiasm to the role of Animal Care Attendant. By joining the LAWS team, you will significantly contribute to a remarkable cause – advocating for positive outcomes for all our animals.
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
At LAWS, we are committed to nurturing a diverse environment and proudly serve as an equal-opportunity employer. Applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status, are welcomed and encouraged. We value and appreciate your unique perspective and talents here.
